Our Amazinh Human Body: THE LIVER
Hello to
all my lovely readers!
Would you believe me If i say to you
that your liver is one of the most complex and important organ of our body just
as your brain?
Well my
friends, this organ not only is responsible on cleaning the blood of toxic
substances, it is also in charge of degrading the nutrients taken from food and providing the energy required
for the body's fundamental functions.
In addition it serves
as a storage site for minerals and vitamins and played a similar role in the
metabolism of fats through the formation of bile, having a leader role in digestion
and absorption of fats in the intestine.
Also the liver synthetize
proteins and cholesterol and has an important role in an infinite number of
metabolic processes that allows our body to work well.
So much work for
a single organ!
Another incredible
think about it is its ability to regenerate itself, it is the only organ of
your body that can do that! So imagine this: you can donate a part of your
liver and with time it is going to be as big and strong as you had it before.
But, when the
liver is damaged we suffer from bad breath, headaches, fatigue, poor digestion,
stress and the immune system declines, then some hepatics diseases will appear -like
fatty liver and cirrhosis-
and its ability of filter and store nutrients will be nullifield and will not
regenerate its tissue, getting totally damage.
So, please! The
next time you think in your liver, not only remember that it has the role of
clean your body from alcohol and other toxins… Your liver is more than a
cleaning machine and you need to take care of it. If it does not work as it
should, all your systems wil l be compromised and harmed.
So I recommend
adding to your diet antioxidant foods like apples, blueberries or tomatoes, which are capable of protect cells from
harmful waste free; Consume several servings a day of vegetables and fruits like kiwi, asparagus or grape which are able to clean the liver;
Limit your intake
excessive alcohol. And for the last but not less important, drink a lot of
water per day. Doing all of this, your liver will be happy and functional.
I hope you have been as amazed by this organ as I am ...
See you next
week!
